How are the quad-rok rims from douglas. I was just wondering since they are kindof cheap. Are they stong like the .190 or soft or what? Thanks for any info Steve

Anybody? I just want to know how they would be? They are pretty cheap though magicracing so I figured if they were a good rim I would buy some for my 400ex. They seem to look pretty cool. Thanks for the help Steve

Bringing this question back because I am wondering the same thing.

If anyone knows, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Actually, I bought a set of 10" douglas quad-roks with razr tires all te way around and reall6y like them. The rims seems strong so far and are thick. The rim in the middle where it mounts to the hub is just under half an inch thick. I would suggest getting the douglas lung nuts though. It fit is alittle tight because the stock lugs go into the rim half way. It just makes it hard to tighten them down without stripping them off. Not a big deal though if you plan to leave them on all the time. I have a picture of them on my 400ex if you want to see it. I just don't know how to put it on the site, but I would gladly send it to you though email or if anyone who reads this would explain I will put it on. Steve

You probably never thougth you would see your old post come back after a half year...

Thanks for the reply and the advice. I really want some rims that wont bend or become egg shaped like my stock ones. I think these might be the ones....unless anyone else here tells me otherwise....

I like them, I am hard on rims. I have bent my douglas red labels twice now. It is not much but I must have hit something hard. I didn't even remember about this thread. No one ever replied to it. Did you get the picture to come up? Just let me know if you need anything else. If I can help I will. Steve

Any new info on these Quad-Rok rims? I am thinking of either getting these, or the ITP Baja rims. Never had a problem with the Douglas .190 red label rims, and I take some good sized jumps too. I figured on my next set I wanted something cool looking and strong too.

I ended up getting the Quad-Rok rims. For the price, they seemed very hard to beat. They are extremely thick/strong and look pretty cool. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have them on the front of my quad. They are thick and strong like everyone else says.
