engine is ceramic coated flat black some stuff I got from duplicolor, everything else is powdercoated or chromed

as far as how she goes........................... you ever hold a cats tail then drag a wire brush across its butt :o

the oil tank is winchester red it's actually a really bright red not dark my motor mounts and chain guard are trans red but it is really hard to tell in the pics

yah just paint the whole thing then run a disk grinder accross the edges of the fins just enough to take the paint off

:mad: oh well poo happens, but yah she took a pretty nasty tumble rolled bout 12 times got some pretty sick air too pancaked the front bumper steering dampner now has a 90* bend stem is twisted sumbframe looks like a pretzel sheered the subframe bolts and shoved the subframe up into the frame grab bar is trashed took out the air box too and a few other thing no biggy pay to play I guess but she'll be ready for hatfield never fear goin to pick up another subframe tomorow so it all starts muhah

and yes i'm okay cept for a hideous bruise on my butt

havent' found any powdercoat flaking off and the frame looks straight so I think were good

and yes those are stock arms with some modifying here and there

Ugly do you have anymore pictures of just your motor? I thought I found a thread where you posted some, but now I can't find it. Also did you use the 500 degree paint?

Glad youre alright bro, sux about the spill.... But, when youre tryin to climb straight up walls (which is what I assume you were doing) I guess thats what happens sometimes...

The paint was duplicolor ceramic flat black and goes up to some hidious heat i'm running it on the header of my streat bike and and it's holding it's own great the stuff is like 10 bucks a can it does make the motor harder to keep clean cause the black shows all dirt I shoulda went with a gloss back probably would have been easier to get clean

only if the oil isn't as thick as grease then it's okay but if it's as thick as grease then I put used oil on my chain :o

Well I have 2 cans of high gloss black here for 500 degrees. Some seem to be using stuff for much higher temperatures, the cylinder shouldn't get over 500 would it? Also have you noticed a difference with it holding in heat or anything being painted?
