i wish i had money but i dont
my 400ex needs:head, valve cover, cylender,crank, clutch, piston ,cam ,valves, tires ,rims, subframe, stering stem , bars, wiring harness, and a axel.

is it worth fixing or should i just see whats left that works and sell it?

I would part it out if I were in your situation.

You can look in the for sale board and buy a motor for $5 or $600.00 and several other parts you can find for cheap i bought a frame subframe complete motor wire harness and several other misc items for under $500.00 if you fix it you know what you got who knows what your buying now a days you could have the same problems you have now.......

i have about 50$ so if i do fix it it will be awhile
but if i part it out i will have to finish paying it off

Should have insured it then rolled it. ;) I didn't realize you were talking about the 2004. You are probably in deep.

can i ask why the heck you need all those parts??! did your motor like implode and melted everything within it? wth???? how do u need a cylinder. crank and everything??? what happened??

ring fell in bottom end and dirt got into head from cracked crankcase breather

i dont know if the ring is it the bottom end but it was not on the piston when i pulled it out

i did take care of it this time
the last time i blew was MY FAULT i was an idiot with it
this time i think is was from a crash my cusain had

wtf do u do to it? I ride mine wfo everywhere and I still havent had any problems
