400ex sprocket = 450r sprockets

Does anyone know if a countershaft and the rear sprocket from a 400ex will fit a 450r?

well the rear is probably the same but the front won't work. it's not the same

I thought the same. But has anyone actually used a 400ex rear sproket on a 450r.

well does your sprocket hub look like this??? If so it will work, the sprocket won't be that small tho I run a 34 on the back, stock is 38.

The rear sprocket should work. They all have the same part number. I had a 250r rear sprocket on my 400ex hub. It worked. The front won't work though. My swingarm and stuff is all stock. just my 2 cents though. Steve
