well... what do you ride, woods or track?

for woods id go with hotcam stage 1...
for a track id go with a hotcam stage2

there are a lot of other cams... i dont know much about those...

as far as needing anything else with a cam.. it depends what you get. hotcams are nice cuz u can run stock rockers...

on a webcam or any other hard welded cam you will need hard faced rockers, or the cam will eat up the rockers....

ignore that above post with the hotcams stage 2 you only want a hotcams stage 1 i have a stage 2 in mine thinking it was more everywhere WRONG its topend not ideal for the track or woods or anywhere IMO i wish i bought the stage 1 and with the hotcams you dont need to have anything or much done to the motor for them to perform well but will also be good for the guy who is running a big bore and such (me) i had to regear almost opposites so i could get the tourque back from making the mistake of putting in the stage 2

( with hotcams they now have 3 stages stage 1 is all tourque the old stage 2 is now the stage 3 so i have a stage 3 cam but stage 1 is tourque stage 2 is all around and stage 3 is topend) thats if you didnt know .. .. hope that helped quite a bit;)

The Hotcams Stage 2 is an all around cam. There are quite a few companies out there making cams. The best thing to do is find a Race Shop that sells a couple different brands and ask them. Hopefully they've got the experience working with the different cams to tell you what's best. Also, if you do a high compression piston with the cam you'll really notice the power difference. Hope this helps.
