New XBox

Anybody see the new XBox yet. I just saw it on XBox.com. It looks awesome. They don't give you really any info on it yet, but it's called XBox 360. I think it should be great.

I'm not a fan of X-Box, but I hope for other people's sake that there won't be any major problems with it because it seems like they kinda rushed it. PS3 is due to come out this year also.

rushed? they have been working on it for 3 years. im sure it will be better than a ps3, just like the xbox is much better than ps2

i don't see how the xbox now is much better than the ps2 (and i have both) except for the hard drive, and you can put one of those in the ps2. yeah the graphics are a little better on the xbox but i think the ps2 loads faster and its nice that you can play dvd's right out of the box. as for the ps3 i don't think its supposed to come out til 2006. they may preview it this yeah but its not going to be put out. i think the xbox 360 is supposed to come out this november is what gamestop was telling me. they were already reserving them the night it was reviled on mtv.

ok i am not 100% sure but my friend that works at gamestop said they will be $300. like i said earlier they are already reserving xbox 360's and they require a $50 deposit to reserve it. thats what i know.

The reason the current X-Box has better graphics than PS2 is because it came out nearly a year later. I'm sorry, but from what the game developers have been saying the PS3 is going to walk all over the X-Box 360 graphics wise. Game Development studios have had the development hardware for both of these systems for months now, so they should know.

Also Sony may be pulling a few tricks and maybe putting the PS3 out Quarter 4 of this year, aka right for Holiday season and within a month or so of the 360's release. That's not set in stone, but I've heard it's a very good possibility that the PS3 may indeed be released by the end of this year.

let's just see what happens at E3 this week

I like both the sony and microsoft's consoles. I'm curious to see what comes out but I am a huge Halo fan so I'm biased towards xbox a little. Who has the stats on ps3? If its anything like the new xb 360, it will be sick too. Its going to be an exciting holiday season for the gaming community.

I have a buddy that works with xbox and it is going to offer quite a few more things this time some of them i know is that it is going to have more memory for you saves and downloaded games and stuff, the system is going to be much faster,and instead of having to buy a mod chip it is going to a little one built in,but as a down it is built for more online players like xbox live and the other stuff!

yeah i know what you mean. i thought it looked like one of those cheap dell computers. not saying it isn't good but that was my impression. it is cool that you can change the front of it though.

I don't like either one of the consoles. The ps3 controller is fugly but the xbox controller looks big still. The looks of the console really have nothing to do with the game play so I'm not worried about that. If its ugly, I'll hide it in the entertainment center.

nintendo is coming out with the revolation. from what i have heard it is supposed to be different than anything ever made and is supposed to change what gaming is. i read that the controller for the nintendo is supposed to be completely custimizable and is a touchpad basically. so you can place where the buttons are and stuff. sounds crazy, but with the xbox 360 and ps3 as their competitions they have to think crazy.

well nintendo usually aims for the younger market anyways. i know they offer resident evil and games like that but they have always tried to stay more along the lines of cartoon type games for example the mario series. the sony and microsoft came along and realized that adults wanted to play games too so their systems are built around the needs of the older crowd. nintendo does have its perks though. its usually cheaper, and you basically always know what kinds of games will be for it. its all personal preference really.
