OUCH. 2 weeks later I was back on the bike, little easer goin scence then tho. now I stay away from the jumps.

really kind of discouriging trying to ride with him. altho there is one thing that he cant do as good as me, wheelie!!

some kid wants to trade me 2 genarals for my supra lol, i dont really like generals tho, too small but my friend has one and can rip it up on ot:cool:

when I was into bmx as a kid we used Tange 3peice cranks, Race Inc frames and them 15inch skinny wheels, chits changed alot, I can barely follow 1/2 of what you guys are talking about:o :D Z-rims that you could put in the freezer IF you warped them for street riding, and bear claw pedals LOL

you guys make feel like an ol kojer:o :blah: :ermm:

TRX250EXPRO
05-19-2005, 01:34 PM
ya the general is small... but its really easy to manuever in the air and if you get new bars, forks, and cranks it seems wayyy bigger and yet it is still easy to throw around and do tricks. i would definately not trade your supra for 2 generals though...if i were you i would keep it and then just save a little money and get one

05-20-2005, 08:17 PM
hey, I got a set of freeze straight rims. I dont use them anymore tho, they where to flexible, and wobled all over the place. now I got some alex tripple walls, they are awesum..

any one else have troble stopping when there is watter on a chrome rim, my brakes are completely usesless when wet, I dont use them too often./ only when I wheelie really.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/kwiatkowski/newphotos009.jpg we had a "mobile jump" just like that, we'd take to the lakes and dock jump almost every day in the summers as a kid, ppl would give us $$ to pull off tricks.... thats how we paid for lunch alot of the time LOL:D

BMX always looke dlike fun my one firend does it he has a trakc behind his house most of the jumps are farly small there one about 3 feet high with a 3 feet deep ditch thats about 12 feet
long. But bmx is too much like work to much peddeling. I wouldn't rather be on a dirtbike ifi wnated 2 wheels. But i always rid emy mountain bike and do wheelies and stopies. Today i fliped forward doing a stopie but i got my feet over the handel bars then jumped off and left the bike fall. I always practice on trying to rid elonger wheelies i can ride them a good 75 feet.

i attempted doing this riding as fast as possible down the road on a hill...then hitting a 5'7 tall kicker ramp we built...then into an above ground pool...well i went almost over the pool and landed on the side and tore the entire side open and like 1000 gallons of water went EVERYWHERE in the road lmao...its hurt like a ***** though...those same highschool seniors and their peer pressure...then we set up a boxing match but whats another story.

I bought a braided oddasey suppose to be one of the top ones, I broke it in 3-4 weeks, then I bought cheap ones and they lasted me about 5 weeks or so and then finaly broke. (stright cable)

05-22-2005, 09:54 AM
get better pads or somthin, so it grabbs with less effort. who needs brakes anyway? they slow ya down.

do you lube the brake cable perodicly. I squirt some lube in the cracks of the cable jacket every month or so.

do you leave it out in the rain? if so then that is your problem. because you really souldnet be braking that many cables. I think I broke 1 cable ever. so you got issues. or are lieing

No I dont leave my bikes outside, I have kool stop phat pads on both my bikes, hombre u brake, and yes I lubed them, they would just snap, now gyros I dont break or have any problems besides the lower cable that goes back to the brakes, allways snap it there :grr:

try the kool stop bmx pads. they work wonders for me.
