should i buy this truck?? woods beater 4x4

ok me and my buddy have been wanting to buy a truck together so we can go 4x4ing. we know we will go at least once a week and the truck night we have up here in NE ohio every thursday. Its an 88 S-10 blazer 4x4. were buyin it of another freind for $120 it runs but the brake lines are gone which we can fix. were not goin to make it road legal no plates or anything just like a woods beater to have fun. just like a body lift and were goin to gut the whole inside except for the seats and guages every thing else like carpet is gone. should we do it? its only $120 we have been lookin for some cheap 4x4 for like 150 or less and it seems like a pretty good deal the frame is solid and the body is accually pretty good. any tips on getting or making a cheap 4x4

thats a damn good price $120 for it. i would say buy it if its only gonna be a damn beater.

yeah its only a beater but it runs good it has the 2.5 v6 in it, 2 door. hes sellin it cheap cuz he bought a pair of blazers and only needs one, we just want somthin to mess around wit and have fun

no such thing as a 2.5 v6 with gm

sound good, they go fairly well of road. But like chucked said it is either a 2.8, or 4.3 V6 or a 2.5 4 banger
