Air soft gun?

Any one on here play with the air soft guns? Less painfull that paint ball and cheaper too.
Lets see your set up. My 11 year old girl just brought home a spring type pistol. I let her shoot me from about 15 feet away, and it left a pretty good welt through my jeans. I may have to go get me a gun just to defend myself:devil:

We played inside my friends house last night. They dont really hurt unless you get shot from 1 foot away. They are pretty fun.

You think 1 foot away would hurt i shot myself in the stomach the other day from anouut 2 inches away in the stomach it didnt hurt much but it stung a little bit and left a welt on my stomach

my friend was behind me and shot me in the leg with it, i thought a stick scratched me but then he hit me in the same spot with it again and close range. ya it hurt.

duno why they call them air soft because there is nothing soft about them beebees lol

I have 2 Airsoft guns. One is an electric AK the other is a spring Dessert Eagle. It all depends how fast your gun shoots and what kind of closthe you wear. My AK shoots about 150 fps and the other is about 250fps. My freind got shot in the stomach just whereing a t shirt from 8 feet away with one that shot 300fps. IT left a huge WELT!! :D

I just got one today. Me and my freinds all have one now so we built bunkers and crap and we were playing till 10:30 tonight. But I just got my gun and shot it like 2 times and this thing came on and where you cock it came right off?:mad: So tommrow in the daylight I have to find it.

Do you guys play with them like paintball? Like woodsball and crap? Do you wear any like protection...All we wear is a paintball mask, shorts and a t-shirt so we know we get hit. Those things are fun I love them.

By the way I have a Tarus PT92 or something, its a spring pistol.

My friend shot me w/his full auto m-16 the other day from about 10 feet and now I about 20 little scabs on my back....320 fps,....it really hurt

What do you expect getting shot at 320 fps? Thats like more than i run my paintball gun at I think. I got 6 shots in the back from 4 feet away playing paintball. That left a few nice marks. Dang high end electros.

The one she got is rated at 300fps with .12g bbs damn that thing hurts.

I wish I coould find a buyer for my AirSoft stuff because I do not play much since I got into paintball. I have an AR15, HK MP5K for small area assault and a Glock26 for pistol only action and sidearm use.

my friends is just a little $35 handgun and noone thought that i would do it I was only wearin a tshirt and i was bored so i wanted to see if it would hurt so i shot myself in the stomach and it only hurt a little but it did leave a little welt

why does your 11 year old daughter have an airsoft gun, better yet just come home with it out of nowhere, most older kids arent smart enought not to shoot eachothers eyes out.

Well to be honest with you, it was given to her. But yes she has had a gun saftey course and knows damn well how to shoot. She shoots quarters with my 10/22 at the range better than I do. She shoots trap with a 410, and she wants to shoot my 30.06 Savage this year on the bench:eek:

She wants a compound bow for her birthday next month:confused:

My kids are 9 & 11 and have 4 airsoft guns.the lastest the UPS man delivered to my work even has a laser guide on it.It is how you teach your kids to be with them I think.My kids airsoft guns are locked in the gun safe.They only play with them with their motorcycle goggles on.So far so good they play safe.:)

I bought 5 air soft guns this week!! i just started playin and i love it so much. My buddies and I play all the time, with just t-shirts and safety glasses.

Sofar I have: - M4A1 rifle (damn powerful, best one u can buy)
-Detuche Machinegun (almost as powerful)
- 2 mp5 automatic machineguns
- desert eagle hanggun

Im looking to buy the sniperrifle, cant wait to get it.

Anyone looking to buy one of these guns, but the m4a1 rifle, its the best out there, so accurate and hurts so badly, most fun to use hahaa. Plus the clip is very easy and fast to reload.

I have a Smith and Wesson it shoots 302fps and it hurts! Everyone use to have one and there would be like drivebys constantly at our town park. Of course the cops fixed that problem.;)

Thats the plan;) I keep tellin the wife that when she starts dating, the gun safe moves to the living room. And every boy she brings home gets the tour:macho I'll be sure to tell them that I have freinds with a pig farm too. That where the "pig pen racing" comes from:devil:

The ammo is a bit larger than the .177 caliber BBs that we shot as kids, and they are plastic not copper coated lead.

i dont think your right hear because my spyder amg paintball gun shot 1350fps and it would not just leave a welt you was bleeding and that is through a layer of protection and clothes:devil:

1350 fps = 5400 feet in 4 seconds (very rough estimate, no wind taken into account)

1 mile = 5280 feet

1 hour has 3600 seconds in it

3600/4 = 900 mph

If a paintball is hit by enough force to shoot something 1350 fps, i dont think it would make it out of the barrell. Where is this guy? I want to see what he says about it.

its total bull**** but its not faster then most rifles haha...my feckin 22. cal pellet gun goes 1100 fps...and my 22. magnum semi auto goes around 1500 fps i think (not sure)

yea thats def. bull****. you would burst the ****in paintball to smithereans before it would ever think of coming out of the barrel. hell, shotguns only shoot 1500 like max.

5.56mm(M-16) is just a hair over 22 cal. and it travels roughly 3200 fps.
A M1911 .45 cal round travels at 253 mps, or roughly, 785 fps. A paint ball will not hold up to the pressure os 1300+ fps. Even if you could get the paint balls to hold up (maybe frozen :devil: ) If you were to get caught running that kind of pressure you would probably never make it off of the playing field.
