ticking

I rode my 2005 400 without my helmet on today and heard a ticking. Is this bad. Could somebody give me a link to an article with this discussed?

how old is it? is it stock? when was the last time the valves were adjusted? :confused:

2005 4 months old and no it is not stock, wb pipe, k and n filer and lid, along with jetted at 165 (I know the jetting is right)

it probably just needs the valves adjusted if it's just a light ticking. ;)
