alright i installed my HMF full system and UNI air filter. i put my needle clip second postion from bottom and air/fuel screw 2.5 turns out from tight and put in a 162 main. WAS TO LEAN. so i went straight to a 175 main. seems much better but how tanned does the plug have to be light or dark tan. also im at an 800-1000ft elevation. does my jetting sound right??? my airbox lid is also closed.

feels like i have gained quite i big increase in power:D HMF OWNS:devil:

Honestly that sounds way rich on the main jet if you still have the air box lid on but if it runs good and the plug looks good I guess it's ok.I am running a HMF Bill Ballance slip on with no lid and a Twin Air filter and a 175 main.My plug looks perfect. If I put my lid back on the quad won't even run past 1/4 throttle.

im at a thousand feet and mine runs perfect with a 160. and no lid with kn filter. 162 jus boggs down and runs chitty. u sound really rich. u want the plug paper sack brown.

it is a light brown at 175 main... trust me at 162 it was PURE WHITE:eek2:

also when i put the q-core in it bogs at 1/4 throttle for a second and then pulls real hard the rest of the way. but who needs the q-core anyways:devil:

I have a question for you...

The color of my spark plug is a " light gold " with a 155, does a 160 will be fine? thanks
