The track is a muddy mess! Rain, hail, and severe thunderstorms moved in last night with nickle-size hail!

Currently, the morning race has been shortened to only 3 laps and the mx track has been removed from the morning race.

Currently Billy Good is in the overall lead after passing Traci Cecco. Traci started 2 minutes ahead of Billy.

In the women's class-Traci is first, Angel Atwell 2nd and Stephanie Parton is currently in 3rd.

Once again, Walker Fowler won the youth race.

Overall-
The AM race was actually a 4 lap race--and the results are as follows:

Billy Good 1st, Traci Cecco 2nd, Michael Swift of the Utility Class actually took 3rd overall and Chris Neal placed 4th.

Women's Class
Traci Cecco took 1st
Ashlie Whaley 2nd
Jean Lovely 3rd
Angel Atwell was running in 2nd place, but during the last lap, she experienced mechanical problem-her YFZ started to break up and sputter

The Pro Race has been delayed for about an hour so they may clear the track. Rain is coming in from the West and may be coming down at the start.

I got back about from the race about 5:30. I only live about 30 minutes away. I hate it when its a muddy mess like this you cant tell whos who. Even the few pictures I did take i couldnt tell who they were. I got a little footage from the starting gate. After that i didnt know where to got to get good pics. I wore my exriders shirt to see if i could finally meet some people. Only Rico had enough balls to come introduce himself. O well i guess i had fun anyway.

Traci Cecco put her Alba Action YFZ up on the podium for the 1st time this season with yet another Women's Class Win as the battle between her and Women's Champ Stephanie Parton remains intense as they swap wins back and forth with Angel Atwell improving with every race and becoming a threat as she battled with Traci on the last lap before her YFZ gave up on her.

Congrats Traci for the Win and 2nd Overall

Michael Swift surprised everyone with his 3rd Overall on his Kawasaki as he finished less than one minute behind Traci Cecco with adjusted time, but he didn't get his chance on the podium because his great performance wasn't realized in time.

Congrats Michael Swift and all the Utility Riders finishing in the top 10 overall as they dominated in the mud.

Checked the results before I left the track and I got 4th overall in the Morning. They had a mix up or something, I guess. I lead for 3 laps and have no idea how Mike S. got in front of me and either does he. Must have been a course change behind me and they got the shorter route. We never saw each other. Should've had it in the bag. Great to be back on a Kawie though. I guess I will have to live with the 2nd. Great race coverage Harlen.

I have never ever in my life seen mud that stuck to you like that. I hate OHIO clay mud. But the state if fine.Michael said it was the best track he has ever raced on. He loved the mud.And to top it off probably one on his best runs ever, till his quad vapor locked on his last lap . Go figure

To all the racers young or old, men or women If you could ride in that stuff you were one tuff cookie!:macho

When I went he slid down just enough to stop me.
I sat there, and watched people go every which way.
I ended up running down the creek and around.
If I would have went down the creek in the first place it would have saved me about 3-4 minutes. There was a big W there that stopped me for a couple minutes.
Still ended up all right.

At the start before they called the pro riders why was #20(Kim Kuhnle)riding a Banshee? 2-strokes arn't allowed in the pre class.
Because it was a banshee and it had a number 20 on it.
Whats that all about?

I guess his Polaris was broke down and not enough time to get parts in to fix it.

Only the top 10 are not allowed to run 2 strokes. He was fine otherwise R/P would have not allowed him to race.

Rule
Pro (ATV) Ð Production rules apply (0-525cc). OEM motor and matching frame combination model required. Engine modifications, frame reinforcements and frame modifications to permit longer rear-wheel travel are permitted. Fuel tanks are limited to a 4 gallon maximum capacity.

The Banshee is still in production and it is below the cc limit, so any Pro Rider would be allowed to race a Banshee on a Stock Frame in the Pro Class, but as you can tell there aren't more than a couple of banshees on the line at any event because they aren't the best machines for woods racing compared to what else is available.

It's good to see Kuhnle on a Banshee. Even though it's a yammi, it's kinda cool to see it again in the pro class before they finally stop production on it. If some of you old timers remember Kim was very successfull aboard his banshee back in the late 90's. Also, before the pro production classes the banshee was very popular among the old open classes. Even Ballance briefly rode one.

Sorry I thought that they wern't allowed in the pro class anymore, but I think that it is awesome that Kim was on the banshee and maybe he'll be on it again in that future.
