426 kit

i am looking into getting a 426 kit with a stage 1 hotcam due to my trailriding. where is a good place to buy this on the web. im looking for the best price but i heard if the piston is 12:1 i need to run race fuel? if so i want 11:1.......help me out

might not want to run to high comp on your stock rod... IMO

11 to 1 sounds good

I think Airies pistons make an 11:1, also JE pistons, or check out fourstroketech.net If you call them they can give you info. on all sorts of engine modification combinations

Tom at TC told me that if I plan on running a 11:1, he recommends running 50/50 in the winter, spring and fall and straight race fuel in the summer.

You can run pump gas 94 on 11:1

Just run 20w50 semi synthetic or full synthetic 15w50 to keep it cooler. Maybe look into an FST oil cooler.

Stage 1 cam? get the stage 3 and put a 13:1 piston in her. I would also recomend the 726 kit my friend Jeb gots one of those and it will do a good buck 20. If you want to go faster on the track do what I did. I slapped a sticker of my mom on my seat so I feel like I'm riding my Mom, I figured if i'm so good at riding my mom this would motivate me. It shaved seconds of my lap times.
