Valve Springs

Is it necessary to get new valve springs when you put in a Stage II Hotcam and a JE Piston 10.5:1 (stock bore). If so, what does everyone recommend as for valve springs?

you don't have to use heavy duty valve springs, but some people will add them for added insurance. Kibblewhite valve springs are the most common..

I did go with a HD valve spring with my setup...see sig. They said it was not needed, but I went with it anyway.
