450r with powerup kit?????

I just purchased my hrc power up kit for my 450r today. Im excited and cant wait to get it back and take it for a ride. I hope i am not disapointed in the gains but from what i have heard they are good. I have a couple of questions though. Since it replaces the spark arrestor will that make a difference in the sound of the exhaust. And my buddy has a yzf 450 with a gty-r full exhaust and mixes 110 octane with 93. He says he will still be able to beat me on the track, trails and pavement what is your opinions on that.

It should be pretty close! All I can say is when I put a pipe on mine with the hrc kit it was a huge difference. The pipe really brings to life the hrc kit. It will be louder with the hrc kit but not excessively. It's got a deeper sound to it. You friend is just wasting his money running race fuel unless he has a high compression piston.

yes you wil have to rejet again. But you wont have to wory about the yzf if you get a pipe. the pipe will realy wake it up

The hrc kit comes with a 185 main jet. When I put my pipe on all I had to do is change the main jet to a 190 and now it is like a different machine.
