Theres a guy with a vforce, it has an starter on it and an alarm system. I think its well worth the money, you figure an average atv runs you 3-7 grand and thats not counting your hybrids and such.

its a peice of chit trust me. it will break. get a kryptonite lock put it around the sprocket so it cant roll. or take the spark plug cap off so it wont start and they most likely wont check if its on

I saw a video on how to do it.

Taking the spark plug cap off would work, and the lock would scare some ppl off. but what if they want to load into a pickup. they can just lift it up.

as for the alarm I wouldent buy it. just one more electrical disaser waiting to happen.

Where I keep my 4 wheeler is about 100-150 feet away from where my bedroom is. It has so far worked 100%. I have only tested it, as in, turn the volume on high, then walk into it and listen for the tone. The batteries need replaced once every 6 weeks or so, You know when they go bad because there is an LED on the transmitter/motion sensor, if it doesnt blink, the battery is dead. It takes 1 9v, and the receiver takes 3 batteries.

#1 problem, wires on a quad are to easy to get to and cut, and anyone who knows quads will know what wire doesnt belong....
#2 probalem, if it is vibration activated then a good wind on plastis and there ya go
#3 where ever that horn is it'de be some easy to rip off

now on the other hand the drive way thing....is a good idea IMO
