If you're not running an exhaust you won't really notice it. You need to figure out how you're gonna build you're before you know weather or not you'll need it. If you're building a high-rev engine you'll need it. If you build a torque engine. AKA a stroker, your power will be on the low to mid side so it will be useless. I ran one on my 300 and I run one on one of my XR50s.

even alot of high rev motors dont really need it. the stock rev limiter is WAY past where the motor makes peak power

if you need it, gthunder can remove the limiter on your stock box for 75 bucks

I have one on my 300, it shows a difference..but I needed it because i kept hittin the rev limiter, and I have a modded motor .. But if u have a stocker, or even just a pipe and arent doing any types of racing, then you wont notice it, or need it.

your shifting way too late it sounds like.

not trying to be an ***, but the motor dosent make any power that high with just those mods, and probably not with just a stage 1 cam

on the track i dont have a problem running in to the rev, it more a problem on the road when me and my friends drag race, also i thought i read some ware the cdi box makes a hotter spark or more sparks or something like that. but i am not for shore

you'd have to ask sparks about the hotter spark, i think they are the ones that make a box for the 300ex, gthunder will just take off the rev limiter on the stock one

your still shifting too late on the road. the problem with dragging on the street is since you have total traction, all your power is getting to the ground, so it feels like your making power all the way to the limiter, but if you look at a dyno sheet of a 300ex, chances are your not even close
