what power on pump gas?

I want to start getting into the motor soon. I just want to know which motor kit I can get while still running on pump gas. I hear that a 330 kit requires race gas mix. Maybe a 310cc...? I can't go race gas because there is no place close to get it around here.

The compression ratio of the piston is what determines if you need to use race fuel or not. The 300 is air-cooled, right? I believe that is right, so keep the compression ratio below 11:1. JE makes a 10.8 piston for the 400, so they may make one for the 300 as well.
