Which carb for a esr 310?

I Just got a esr 310 cylinder with mid to high port job. It also has high compression head. I don't race . I just ride a mx track & trail ride & sand dunes. I was just think that i need a 38mm air striker. Is that a good starting point.

The mid to high port job will be great for the dunes, but it might be a little hard to handle for MX and trail.

A smaller carb will give you better throttle response, a larger carb will give you better top-end power. A 38mm A/S is probably a very good overall choice.

I had a freind who used to run the exact same set up. He run the complete esr 310 kit with the 38mm a/s from eddie and it flat ripped! It is not the easiest to ride on an mx thrack though, it is not exactly what I would call useable power, but very fun to ride.
