Mods include:
HMF slip-on (jetted perfectly)
K&N with outerwear
DG Nerfs
Brand new Kenda Klaw XCRs (front and rear)
Moose Bars
$2750 OBO. I can meet someone halfway within about 100 miles of Nashville. You could arrange shipping if you wanted, but i dont want to deal with that if at all possible.
The machine is in great shape except for the battery box. It somehow cracked while i was riding at a track and the battery fell out. The current battery is held in by zip ties, but this whole problem could be fixed for less than $50. If you think this is ghetto, yeah, it is- but my asking price should compensate for any second thoughts.
Also, the electric start works but the main fuse by the battery needs a new container- you have to mess with the lid for the starter to work sometimes. I called honda, this part is only $8. I just dont have time to deal with it. Between work and summer classes i'm too busy to sleep. It's becoming a really expensive hobby because there arent any really good riding areas close to me and I need the money to put a down payment on a truck.
The quad runs very well, is perfectly jetted, and has never been raced. I tore the entire thing down over the winter and cleaned every component with simple green and a toothbrush- i'm not kidding. It has been very well taken care of- regular oil changes, only 93 octane, cleaned after every ride.
I hate to part with it, but i need a car more right now. That said, I can't take any trades unless you have a 450R you want to part with for about 4800 bucks.
Once again, this is a great deal. $2750 OBO.
