300ex rear bearings / carrier

The bearings on my cousins 300ex are shot. Since he is only 13, I offered to change the bearings for him. Do I also need to purchase a bearing carrier, or just the bearings? I see a moose bearing kit costs $30. Is there a better price? Since I will probably be paying for it, I would like to keep the cost to a minimum. Thanks.

Additional info, if needed: He didnt ride it long after the bearings went out (the chain would no longer stay on). He has a durablue rear axle.

the bearing kit should do it, unless the carrier is hogged out and the bearing doesn't fit tight, but its unlikely. $30 is pretty much the going price, you get seals too.
