I want to put this to rest... I'm not sure what it is. I go up a hill, and my tank is gone in 30 minutes. I've seen previous posts, but they go unanswered. My uncle replaced his float, and it fixed it, yet I've heard the bowl as being the problem... Which one is it? My honda shop says that the float level is off. I need some clues here....

read the manual and see what the propper float setting is then check yours and adjust it accordingly

in 01 they made a few changes to the carb. i recommend getting these two parts:

16013-HN5-671

16016-HN1-003

i am not sure exactly which part fixes the problem but one of these should. i would make sure the first part number i gave you doesn't include the part in the second part number. my buddy replaced these and his problem went away on his 2000.

Hey cals, I tried the part numbers, and the bottom one doesn't work. I went to search for it on service honda, and when i enter the number for the 01 float bowl (Bottom number) it doesn't show up...
