cracked head

i just took my motor apart to put a new cam and 416 kit in it when i noticed a crack the head on the cam side. I originally thought i had a head gasket going out thats why i took it apart but now im thinking the oil was coming out threw that tiny crack. what do you guys think? where can i get a new head cheap. thanks

If the "crack" is in an un-machined or "as-cast" area, it is probably just a casting line. Casting lines are usually raised material but can be deceiving. Clean it with a solvent like brake cleaner, if it stays wet along the line, after the adjacent areas dry, it may be a crack.

If it is cracked, check ebay or contact Mike Boone on this site. That is where I got my head from. He sells them on eBay a lot and I think he sells a lot of them.
