What is louder Bill Ballance HMF OR THE SPORT SERIES AND DB WOULD HELP AND WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THEM THANKS

The Ballance full system is a little bit louder than the Sport Series due to the larger straight outlet. The tip on my Ballance silencer is about a half inch bigger in diameter than that on Sport Series.

I'd say the Ballance is maybe 1-2 dB louder than the Sport, if that. With the torque range modifier or the quiet core, it's not too loud. The Ballance with the TRM installed would be comparable to a standard Sport series.

With the quiet core and spark arrestor in, I tested at 94 dB at Silver Lake last year. Pretty decent if you ask me... :)

I believe a full HMF Sport Series system will test between 98 and 102 dB without a quiet core. You might check with HMF directly on this, though.

I had my Ballance Pro Series test at 98 dB without the TRM or the quiet core once, although I question the accuracy of the test.

The ballance pipe is louder. Some of this has to do with no turndown on the back of that pipe.
