Somebody help me, please!!!
Im searching for a pair of aluminum 300ex heel guards for either stock or Roll Design pegs. DG and Roll seem to have discontinued them.
Anyone have any new or used? I have cash or can pay PayPal immediately.
Thanks.

anybody?
look on ebay, and IMS still makes them....http://www.imsproducts.com/index2new.html i think the 400 and 300ex foot pegs are the same, but im not sure. The stock ones seem to be, also the IMS ones require the IMS pegs

Apparently the 300 and the 400 are different. We are funning IMS Pegs and AC Nerfs. Just havent been able to find the heel guards with ANY vendor.

I think 400 foot pegs are bigger so if you put 400 footpegs on your 300 i would imagine the 400 heel guards would work then but thats just an idea for ya to look into

Does anyone know if 400ex pegs will just bolt onto a 300 before I start searching for some 400 pegs?

I don't know that was just an idea.I put stock 400 heel guards on my 300 i just had to trim the part that bolts to the foot peg some but i like the way they fit I think they look way better than the 300 stockers. My 300 had nothing on it when I got it thats why i did this but not too bad

Thats awesome. Then the roll design 400ex heel guards would probably work. why did you have to trim them? too wide?

300ex footpeg mounts and 400ex footpeg mounts are WAY different. Now just from a comparison I did, the 450R pegs will work on the 400ex, and it almost looked, and I stress almost, looked like the yfz pegs and the 300ex pegs looked close to how they mount in design. IM NOT SAYING THIS WILL WORK. It looked close though, but I didn't compare both side to side.

I didnt think that it would be this darned hard to put aluminum heel guards on a 300ex...
Thanks for the info.

I haven't been able to try it out for myself yet, since I don't have my pegs yet. But, The IMS Z400 heelgaurds are pretty damn close from what I can tell. I have a set of the AC heelgaurds here, which are apparently pretty close to IMS heelgaurds(I checked with AC Racing), and they looked like they'd fit on a 300EX if you use the IMS pegs.

Please keep us posted via this thread. I have the AC Nerfs and the roll pegs.
Thanks!!!
if you have IMS pegs (or Roll Designs whatever u want to call them) You need IMS heel guards. The AC's may fit, but the IMS Will deffinatley fit

I wasn't trying to say to use the AC heelgaurds, I'm just saying that I checked with AC, and they say that the dimensions are close. So I held them in place, and they looked like they could be made to work. So, the IMS heelgaurds for the Z400 could possibly fit, with a little tweaking.
its easy if you have adequite tools, but any shop should be able to fabricate them-

you can just make them
If you're saying that your grandpa made those AC heelgaurds for you, then you're soo full of sh*t. Those are the exact same heelgaurds that are on my Z400. They're AC, not homemade.
sorry wrong pic, didnt have my contacts in, he made me ones out of diamond plate, ill take a pic tomorrow when its light
