what are the stock sprokets sizes? what should i go with to get alot of lowend i dont care about the top end, i just want crazy lowend? thanks

Stock size for a 400ex is a 15/38. A 14/36 or a 13/36 would be good for low end. Go to sidewindersprockets.com and check the sprocket ratio chart to help you out.

stay with the stock 13 on the front--not sure the size on the back but i would go up 1 size

drop a tooth in the front or add to the rear then u will have more lowend and bigger/smaller tires affect it too

I heard that mostly everybody dropped a to a 14t on the 400ex is this true & was it only for low end purposes?

or with 8" rims is that just as good as dropping to a 14t

and/or

would dropping to a 14t with 8" rims be to much?

I dont think the rim size has anything to do with low end or top end its the tire size. Correct me if im wrong.
