i am looking at getting a blaster, but i hear they kinda suck! i seen some 30 to 40 hp kits for them and was wondering if anybody was running a kit like this, and what needs to be done to smoke a stock honda 250r in a drag!

mine should be sitting at about 30hp... i just got done riding it, i must say its a thrill riding a blaster with that much power. the acceleration is nuts. its a great machine to build up, easy to work on, easy to gain hp.

what did ya all do to her? it amazes me on how people thing a 250r is all that! ya it fast from the factory and it handles ok (way better than a stock blaster, but not the point!) you buy a cheap blaster running or not (about 700-1000 add some +3 arms, banshee axle, 240 kit, race plastic and a few other and it would stomp many of the atv's out there!:D

Blasters have LOTS of potential & they are fun little machines to work on & ride :)
We have 2 of them one for the trails & our flattracker!!! I know they make good lil flattrackers cuz they are so short :) You can mod the hell outta them too!!! I don't know how many HP ours is pushing but it doesn't even have the big bore on yet & can hang w/ some R's around here!! Thts our next project once we get the hydro brakes but on it :)
