only reason for running high octane fuel ( race gas ) is if you are running high compression. the race fuel prevents the high compression engines from detinating.

I had a bunch left over from race snowmobiles, ( wherent going to use it after beeing left out all summer). so I was using it in my dirtbike for quite a while, all it did was make it smell cool, race gas has a verry distinctive smell.

also some will try to tell you that running methinal will make your wheeler faster, this is sorta true. It wont make it "faster" but will be more stable. methinal also smells awesum. I run it in my go kart.

Your just wasting your money! Race fuel is for high compression engines and it burns at a lower temperature so it won't detonate
It won't hurt it though!

on mine it bogs down easily with the race gas in it. And does not run well.

No it burns at a higher temperature. If it burned lower then it would detonate more. It is harder to ignite.
