could this noise be the cam tensioner, is the tensioner a block of plastic that rides on the chain, should i be wouried about this sound because she only has about 50 hours give or take. ALSO i was thinking about the sprocket sizes and i was woundering will this gear ratio 14/38 "wind up" by this i mean build up torque and cause the timing chain to streach? has this ever happened to anyone?? WHO IS QUAD FATHER AND PAPPY? ARE THEY LEDGENS OR SOMETHING SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE RESPECT THERE OPIONIONS:confused: just asking thanks josh

Cam chain and slide, I have one if ya want it, good to go for 20 bucks shipped, chain and slide (the one that wears the worst)
Easy fix, mine was so bad it wore into the side of my cylinder when I cornered, never fell off but I could hear it, changed the chain and now it sounds great. I bought a used one from a newer motor off ebay and never needed it, basically getting my money back. New was over 100 bucks, (thats what I paid)

Adjust your valves ..... or get a louder pipe

Here's the link if your interested in doing it yourself.

Edit: I saw where you already adjusted the valves...sorry

mine does it to, its not the valves, and has a slight little tick at idle, i did your second option man, got a louder pipe, lol. but seriously 400's and warriors are about the only quad you dont really have to do anything to (within reason) and will last forever just about.. after all its a honda so we dont need to be having this conversation.
