Say I have some connections to get a cheap YZ426f motor, do you think It would be possible to motor swap in a 300ex.

it may be possible, but you would be much better off selling your 300EX and buying a 400EX. And if you did that, you would prob. wanna get an extended swingarm to handle the extra power. Im sure you could squeeze it into the 300 frame, but i dont think it would be that great of an idea.

not worth the trouble

the 300ex frame is heavy and the geometry isnt as good as other bigger size quads (im guessing you have stock suspension, and stock suspension on these quads can barely handle the stock motor, let alone a 426.) you'll be much better off not doing this swap as it would be way more trouble than its worth.. you need more than just a motor (radiator, electrical, custom motor mounts, make sure sprockets line up) and then u run the risk of crackin frame from to much power.
