I'd prolly find out after I do the proper searching but I just thought I'd ask cause it's a simple question. you don't have to take the carb completely off everytime you rejet do you? if you did that would really make dialling in the jets a hassle.

On a 300ex.. yup we do. And yes it's a pain on the butt at first.. but it's not too bad once you get used to it.

It's near impossible to even adjust the air screw without taking it off. (though it is possible if you turn it a bit sideways. But to do that you have to loosen the boots anyway, so may as well take her off.

I can tear mine down, rejet and get her back together in about 10min now. (I do have the 1-piece Fullbore Plastics on the front though, makes it much easier.

awe that sucks. so what's the process of taking that carb off? do you have to pull the tank too or is just taking the plastics off give you enough room
