I have a junk 300ex swing arm with good bearings, and a newly chromed swing arm without bearings for my project ex. Whats the best way to remove the bearings without special tools or damaging them?

find a socket the same size as the bearings and use it with a big hammer to knock the old bearings out. Apply lots of WD-40 to the old bearings before beating on them.

Use the socket as rico says but I use a press or the vise to apply constant pressure. The hammer works but will probably damage the bearing

I am needing to get the bearings out where it attaches to the frame. They only go in one way and am not sure how they come out.
