Got my 05 450r saturday and really like it alot. I will post some pics up later. Also what is the break in period on the R's because the salesman never told me?

i would ride it normal (not race it) and go through gears and stuff and just play around on it for about 45 minutes not ever letting the throttle stay at one spot for a long time. Then change all the oils and oil filter...have fun

Got mine Saturday also. Buddy said 5-10 hour break-in period. Which basically is a normal riding day, just don't hammer the hell out of it.

Vary the speeds and gears. Idle downhill in 1st gear. If done right this can really help seet the rings properly... from what I've heard.

ride it like you are going to the whole time you have it i bought mine january of last year i never broke it in or nothing rode it like hell thats what the dude at honda told me and it has worked it still runs like a champ
