MX tire question

why does everyone run smaller tires in MX?Need all the info you got,please!

We run 18s in MX because 18s give you more bottom end then the stock size and u try to go a inch or 2 inches above that for the front tires im running 18 inch kenda klaw mxrs in the rear and 20 inch kenda klaw mxfs in the front. the taller u go with the tire the more top end u gain.

That and they handle way better, with less sidewall flex.

the smaller 18" tires slide through corners much better with less roll from the afformentione sidewall flex...also they are considerably lighter than larger 20" XC tires
