AIM Problems

Ok, well my aim has been acting wierd lately. I leave my aim on a lot, but it signs off a lot. Like ill be typing then it will send the messages but they arent really sent and then it signs off. It does this like every 30-40 mins i am on. Is this a virus? Any ideas on whats up? It pisses me off if im trying to get somethin from a friend. Thanks in advance.

are you going through a router...mine did that becuase the ip address would change every so often

I'm haveing a problem with AIM too, well I actually think its my internet. I can get on internet explorer and msn messenger, but I cant download music, and when I try to get on aim, it says "the aim service cant be reached"

yes we are going through a router, is there a way to avoid this?

i dont remember exactly what i did..but ud have to change the time at which ur router renews its ip addresses
