My stock tires on the 400 are about gone, i really liked those tires they had good hookup when taking off, but wear to quickly... I do not mud my 400, I only ride in fields, gravel roads, highways, and LITTLE MUD IF I have to cross it in a trail or something... I do lots of creek riding. I have always kinda wanted holeshots, but kinda like the stock tire also, only they wear too fast... What is you opinion on a tire that would suit my riding situations.. IN YOUR OPINION..

Go with the Holeshots or Razors.

Bandits supposedly wear like iron. They will be heavier than the stockers. They are also flat proof.

For all around performance, I think the stockers are hard to beat.

In my opinion.

I found that the stockers have too much side bite and want to grab and tip the quad when cornering. Unless you ride deep mud, get some razrs or holeshots and find out how much fun you've been missing.

I agree with sgaexer I think the stockers bite to much in the corners. Other than that they are a great tire. I am making my next tire purchase and going with either XCR Holeshots or Razr2's. Hye Frogburner what size's are you in the market for???

I would go with razr's

400exBro: also what about running 18's on 15/38???

With 18 inch tires i would go with 15/36. 15/38 is stock and can be too low of gearing but it depends on how tight the trails are and how much low end you want.

Bro: My friend has 18 inchers and the 15/36 for his moto-x setup. He came out Sat and didnt change it since he has a 2 races this weekend but the gearing seemed to be great and it had great power.

FrogBurner: I remember you askin me and Fearthisracer about our Razrs at the Turkey Bay ride. Go with Razr 2s. They should handle off-track conditions alot better but otherwise Id go with the Razrs. The suck in wet soft sand but have excellent hookup in most other conditions. If you get in heavy mud all you have to do is keep the revs up and they clean mud pretty good.

with my turfs its the exact opposite... they suck in the mud ungrooved... and they are one of the fastest wearing tires made...
