Hot start

Does any one know of any hot start levers that would work on the 450r. I have the RTC clutch perch/lever and want to keep that.

I don't see any DR.D hot starts for the trx450r???

the DR. D is for a right side mount and is very hard to opperate on a quad. i have a works connection unit and is is great. i would call them and ask for a left side mount.

the only company that I know of that has a hot start lever that works with the stock cable is Genaration X atv. The web site is genxatv.com

Ill give away one of our R3Concepts secrets but i dont want to see others doing this:D Use a GYTR yfz450 lever and cable. The little billet lever fits onto a CR250 style lever, just drill out the GYTR lever holes to 6mm and viola.. looks cool and works well.

Why do you need it. I have my cable zip tied to the steering stem. I can hust pull on the end of the cable if needed, but since the engine was broke in I have not had to use the hot start. I have stalled it 100 plus times and 75% of the time starts on first kick (knock on wood).

I just ordered a RTC hot start. It's a right side mount but the guy swears it's an awsome design. He said if I'm not happy with it I can send it back so I'm giving it a try.:ermm:
