i bought a pair of elka long travel shocks and jrd long travel a arms. i ran into a problem with the shocks being to long. can the shocks be shortened, or do they have different lengths for different a arms? is there a certain length that goes on the jrd long travel a arms? if so, what is that length?

as fasterz posted, either contact JRD and inquire on what shock length they use for that particuliar arm, or contact elka. elka has all the measurements of each builders arms and the corrosponding shock for that arm.

Your shocks can be shortened but its not cheap. You'd be better off selling them and buying the correct shocks for your setup.
