yfz is the closest I can come to a hybrid thread. since I run a yz motor. I just rebuild my 426 with a 96.5mm piston 439cc and a set of hot cams auto decomp and adj. intake First I want to know if rolling the intake cam gear forward is retarding it or advancing it? and which one does what to the powerband. Also I'm getting some noise from it after riding some hours, I'm assuming the valves need to be re-adjusted since the cams have maybe 10hrs on them, but could it be piston slap from the big bore? I've also heard of these pistons breaking in half its a wieseco stock compression. I haven't been racing it just riding recreationally.

if u have a yz 400/426/450 dont move your cams , the wr timing is 1 tooth diff than the yz and the yfz has the wr timing so everyone changes it to the yz timing
