I want to stiffen my ohlins a bit. Do i turn the nuts down, or up?
If so how much at a time?
Thanks

To stiffen the preload, turn the jam nuts downwards. As for how much, that depends on what you want. Experiment turning them a few turns at a time until you are satisfied with the way it feels.

im lookin to soften mine and was wondering if a regular spanner wrench would work on them. i didnt get one with mine since i got them used, and before i went out and bought one wanted to find out if anyone knew.

A spanner should work but if for some reason it doesn't line up, you can just use a brass punch and a hammer to loosen and adjust the jam nuts.
