7 months old and well over 150 hours on my bike. It is all scratched to hell, but you can hide them very easily. Find something that works on the plastics and stick with it.

What he ^^^ said.
Although, I'm kind of regretting the way I took care of it in the beginning. I bought it to ride it and thats what I did, not really caring what I rode "through". Now that it's all scratched to hell, I wish it was nice and shiny again. I look at pictures I took when I got it home and sigh. :(
I bought some of that "plastic renew" and tried it on one of the front fenders. It looks "better" but not all that great. For the time it took, I should've just ordered a new set from Service Honda...

Its all about the armorall man! When plastics are wet, spray armorall on a DRY towel and then dry it off. I dont know what it does or why it works like that but it works real good.

i didnt get black cuz it craches and scuffs very easily, but i have red and it looks really bad only with a few rides on it. i am going to replace the plastic every racing season so i dont really care how bad they get beat
