450R shock on other models

will the rear 450R shock fit other models? I was thinking more of the lines of the kfx,z, or 400ex

Im just wondering because im going to have a brand new elka rebuilt shock and i might sell it to one of my friends if it fits his quad

Not positive but i think that it is the same rear shock that on the older 400's i dont know about the new one. If not it should fit look exactly the same pretty close in length probably just a different link.
