making a shorty megamax pipe?

i want to cut my megemax so it well become a shorty has any body done it. and how do i go about doing it.

whats the purpose of making it shorter?
i saw a picture of a white brothers e-series shorter.
looks weird...

yea i've done it to my 400 ex with an E-series it didn't really help tht much i thought it looked cool...i know on 2 strokes it adds bottom end power but 4 strokes it don't do a whole lot

ohh and to cut it i took and pulled the "guts" out of it cut the outside of it down..then cut the inside "baffle" to match the same size but you have to becareful it took my likek 2 hrs to get it right and i had all the tools at my body shop..but i thought it was worth it you should have seen all the people look when i rode by

i tried pulling the guts out of my megamax pipe so i could cut it but i could not pull it out..???

they cut em down so the ends dont hit the ground on a wheelie
