look at the items the seller has recently sold. quads are not in the mix. the seller probably got taken on one of those update your ebay account emails that the scammers send out all of the time. i would bet the farm that the account is stolen and i would bet my life that it is a scam. ;)

i emailed the seller and i am willing to bet that the response i get is something along the lines of "the quad is in another state/country and will need to be delivered" or the person will claim to be out of the country or in another state but here is the email i sent.

hi,i live only 20 minutes from your location and would like to see the quad in person before bidding due to the recent quad selling scams on ebay. can we set up a time and place to meet?

No question about it, Your first sign of a scam is when it says pre-approved bidders only at the top and then obviously the buy it now price gives it away. I just emailed the guy and called him an idiot people that do stuff like that piss me off. Thats almost as good as the guy who had a 2001 gts viper for 15 grand buy it now a couple weeks ago :rolleyes:.

it is a little late being as it looks like ebay caught on to the scams but here is the reply i got from the scammer.
