it wont really do much to your axle.. but its not geometrically right either .. your better off to be wider in the bakc than the front.. i rode with +2's and a stock axle but only for a while.. i wouldnt recommend riding like that though

it might hurt when your front end makes it between 2 trees and then your rear does not !

are you retarded...if your front end was wider then your back end would make it through anything

You want your front end to be wider then rear end unlike some of the idiots that think opposite. I could race on stock width rear and still do just as fine, as long as the front end is wide your fine.

Like yamablaster24 said, your handling will be world's better with the front wider than the back as opposed to the back being wider than the front.

yea i lliked it when my bike had the +1's up front and stock rear axle but then i bent my stocker hitting a double so i bought an RPM and my bike is odd to ride now with the rear wider than the front i need to get 2-3 front rims and leave my rear end alonethe way it is now i should be very close to even

but on your issue no, it wont hurt your quad in anyway just take it easy a bit in the trails and in tight spots its a little harder when being wider you dont fit in stock bikes ruts with a front end
