This is some crazy stuff..this is my own backyard so to speak and I never thought there would be a race like this here. If its anything like the local races they will ride through my main ride area
If anyone needs any help findin this place or want to know where to find local motels just let me know:cool:

I raced the Moose Run last year on my bike. I have been racing XC for 15 years and I can honestly say that it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life! It made Black Water look like a kiddey ride! I did 3 13 mile laps and it took me 5 hours! Believe it or not I won the 4-stroke A class. I think I will come up there this year and ride the quad.:blah

Jeff,
Did you race the Moose in the Spring last year. There is another race in the fall, its called the "The Race". Its was 3, 20 mile loops.

Vedder, I'm thinking of doing the Moose, but I've just haven't ridden enough. We need to get together, so I can remember how to ride again.

If I make it up there I'll be in the pro class. I don't have a number on my quad, its red with The Quad Shop stickers all over it. Sorry man I don't have any used 400 parts.:(
I raced the spring race, it was called the Moose Run!

Are they still gonna have it?

If I know Bill Gussie, the promoter, I'm sure it will be on. He's probably licking his chops as he's rerouting the course to make it more difficult. Its suppose to be nice around here the next couple of days. Things should dry out a little, but I'm sure it will be a muddy. Are you going to make it Jeff?

Vedder,
You still planning on going to the Moose Run? Maybe we can meet up beforehand, say like Dairy Queen in Morrison.

Looked like a fun race....alot of broken quads rollin out of the woods:D

The course wasn't near as long as the Moose Run. This course was pretty fast, it had places in the woods with two lanes which made passing pretty easy. The Race in October will be pretty good, its suppose to have the 20 miles loops again. I plan on doing that one.

Have u ridden up in PTown be4??? I think it looks like a great place to ride
20 Miles??? good grief...might be fun though. Does that one go through Galt?

06-11-2002, 07:03 AM
No, it didn't run through Galt. Last year the quads did three 20 mile loops. I sent you a PM also.
