I'm not sure but I think the ones moose makes are stainles steel. That is what I have.

I never had any luck with stainless, they bend way to easy and they weigh a ton.

Dont go with stainless, youll be sorry, buy a .250 thick aluminum skid. you'll be a lot happier.

I made a beautiful 10ga (.135) thick stainless swingarm skid. One race at Millville in the rocks and I had to bust out the hammer. Go .250" Aluminum.
