Ok, I'm helping a friend with his 400ex. he has a FMF power bomb header, and quite core muffler, K&N air box filter lid, K&N replacement filter, we installed, a JE 10.5: piston and used the XR400 head gasket. now we are looking to change his cam, HE does alot of woods trail riding, running stock gearing. doesnt race. what we are looking for is something to gain more HP every were and make lots of TQ on the bottom/midrang. any info would be help full.

i would maybe call up TC and tell them what you need and they will hook you up,but if not then either a hotcams stage one or two

Well, since he doesnt race, youll proably want to keep the cost down and go with a drop in cam. The TC 926 GNCC cam is a great choice, or you could go with a stage 1 or 2 hotcam.
