Something to think about, if your stem and handlebars don't bend on a hard impact, what will??? Your frame is next in line and it will bend. After I bent my stem, I bought another stocker. They are only about $60-$70 from servicehonda.com. The stock stem actually has two areas where honda welded on them to make it weaker so it will bend insted of your frame. Kinda like a crumple-zone in a car or truck body.

I have rolled many times as well as my racing buddy (he runs houser also) We have never bent ANYTHING. I run renthal twinwall bars with my houser stem and it hasnt bent the frame yet, and it is not gusseted either.

well one of the main resons I am getting it is so I can run an ims oversized tank. Cause they say you have to have one or you will have to shave your stem down and I am not going to do that rather just by a + stem....

You can run a stock stem, with an IMS Tank

Do you have to do any mods to the stock stem..
