I kno there are quite a few threads already, but none of them tell me all of the info I need.
What are all of the tools i will need for this?
What are all of the parts i will need to get?
Could i do this for under $800(not counting the exhaust)?
any help please...thanks neil

I'm not an expert and i'm only replying because no one else is but I'm pretty sure you only need the 350x motor and a new exhaust... Only drawback's I see are losing reverse and electric start

youll need basic hand tools, metric sockets standard and deep well, the breaker bar, torque wrench, "he persuader" (aka a big hammer incase you run into something that....needs...well, hitting i guess...) and a buddy to sit on the bucket and laugh when u smash ur hands...and help move the motors around.

you will need new exhaust (www.powroll.com), 250x and 350x wiring harnesses (order hybrid instructions from www.powroll.com), 350x carb, motor mounts (www.powroll.com), basicly...call powroll and talk to them, they are one of the first companies to do this swap and know it like the back of their hand, they are the guys to talk to.

the under 800 bucks thing... iiiiiii highly doubt it...the best thing to do is buy a conversion kit unless you know wireing very well and have access to welders, metal, and have good enginering skills you would probably be lucky to find a 350x motor for under 400 in good running condition and even then it owuld be wise to go ahead and rebuild it. good luck with whatever u decide to do though man.

you can use the 250x carb they say its better u can do it for under 800 if u get a good running 350xmotor i have about 1500 into mine and its no where near complete but im doin everything to it from pc to new shocks and a arms

youre right, the 250x carb has a slightly larger bore i think. if you get powrolls mount kit, yes everything will line up. if you get a good running motor, no u wont have to open it but i always perfer to pull the head cover to see what im looking at on anything "new" talk to notfastenuf4me, hes in the process of doing one now, ive only done one conversion and that was 2 years ago, so he might have some little tricks that ive forgotten

I'm not sure of the bore size, I think the 350X is larger. But the 250X carb has an accelerator pump, and the 350X carb does not.
